Symeonn made his debut as a singer for the One Love International sound system. From there, he has steadily built a following among Caribbean reggae fans in New York. It was while he was honing his skills at Freedom International and Macca Bee sound systems that he first met and worked with fellow Easy Star recording artist Ruff Scott in 1986.
Symeonn continues to perform up and down the East Coast. Most recently, Rob opened up for Everton Blender in Ohio. He has also voiced on the latest Easy Star Riddim called "Thai Stick." Look out for the new 7" called "Keep On Trying," in stores soon (also on the riddim: Luciano, Anthony B, Triston Palma and The Meditations). We at Easy Star feel blessed to have had the chance to continue to work with such a special artist. Rob Symeonn has been with us from the start and we are committed to bringing much more of his music to the people in the future.
