Patrick Junior is another artist making waves in the reggae community. After seeing him perform locally several times and listening to some of his wicked singles, we wanted to try and get him onto the compilation. We also knew that "If I'm Not Loving Jah" would be a great song for someone as heartical as Patrick to voice. The tune was recorded at the same session as "Born In The Ghetto," and Sugar Minott was vibing so hard that he decided to contribute backing vocals to the track. Patrick, along with the other up-and-coming artists on the disc, represents a new generation of roots and culture singers primed to take reggae music into the next century.
