VICTOR RICE SHOW IN SAO PAULO

Victor Rice, one of the far flung members of the Easy Star All-Stars, who makes his home much of the year in Sao Paulo, Brazil, will be doing another of his Lonely Hearts Dub Shows this saturday. Victor brings an 8-track reel-to-reel tape machine, runs it with effects and a mixer, and does a live dub of the Easy Star's Lonely Hearts Dub Band album. It's an experience you don't want to miss. In between sides 1 and 2, he will be joined by Felipe Machado of the Brazilian reggae group Firebug. Together (Felipe on guitar and singing, Victor on melodica) they will perform two extra George Harrison songs. The show is at the Sao Paulo Cultural Center (CCSP) in Barrio Vergueiro. R$10 admission.
